1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your browser, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we handle personal information.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
- Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (pages viewed, time on page, referring source) so we can improve our content and services. Google Analytics sets cookies such as
_gaand_gid. These are only set after you actively accept them via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit. - Tag Management (Google Tag Manager): We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the analytics tags described above. Google Tag Manager is a container that decides which tags may run; it does not itself set analytics or advertising cookies on your device.
We do not currently set any strictly necessary or functional cookies. Your cookie consent choice itself (accepted or declined) is remembered in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and is used only to avoid showing you the consent banner again. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information, and any advertising or social-media pixels we add in the future will be disclosed here and in our Privacy Policy before they are activated.
3. Consent Mode and What Happens Before You Choose
We operate Google Tag Manager with Google’s Consent Mode. In plain terms, this means the tag container itself loads on every visit, but every storage permission it controls — analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation, functionality storage, and personalisation storage — starts in a denied state. No analytics or advertising cookies are written to your device, and no advertising identifiers are used, unless and until you accept via the consent banner.
You should know that while consent is denied, Google Tag Manager may still send Google a limited, cookieless signal that a page was loaded. This signal does not include cookies, does not create or read an identifier on your device, and cannot be used to recognise you across visits or across websites. We also enable Google’s data-redaction setting while consent is denied, which strips advertising identifiers from any such signal.
If you accept, we update the consent state to granted and the analytics tags described in section 2 are then permitted to set cookies. If you decline, the denied state stands for the remainder of your visit and is remembered for future visits. If you have accepted on a previous visit, that choice is applied immediately when the page loads, so you are not tracked before your own stored decision is read.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, is the only third-party service that sets cookies on this website, and only once you have consented. Where we embed other third-party content or tools (for example, hosting, infrastructure, or communication widgets such as WhatsApp), those providers may set their own cookies in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these third-party cookies directly. You can review Google’s practices at their Cookies Policy and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your decision at any time by clicking “Manage Cookies” in the website footer, which reopens the consent banner. Declining analytics cookies means the analytics tags will not be permitted to run or to set any cookies on your device, and every storage permission described in section 3 stays denied for the rest of your visit.
Most browsers also allow you to control or delete cookies through their own settings, typically under “Settings” → “Privacy”.
6. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will always be accessible via our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
